POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary role of this position is to provide responsible for providing leadership, direction, and hands-on involvement to improve the customer experience with the quality and reliability performance of our products. The Manager, Product Quality Engineering, is responsible for developing and implementing quality control strategies, monitoring key performance indicators, and collaborating with various departments to identify and resolve quality issues with a customer first mentality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead a team of global engineers and quality specialists to ensure best quality practices.Promote a culture of quality excellence by driving customer-focused short term and long-term quality improvements using a proactive approach to maximize performance.Develop departmental plans, including business and production, drive a strategy for the department.Accountable for global quality-improvement project teams and kaizens, facilitates multi-functional collaboration.Provide leadership and coaching with a focus on problem solving by leveraging resources within or outside of the department.Drive continuous improvement rigor throughout our global quality teams through use of company tools.Monitor customer quality metrics and drive progress improvements toward quality goals.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors (or higher) degree in a technical discipline preferred (Physical Sciences or Engineering).10+ years of experience in a development, manufacturing or quality environment including experience in leading cross-functional teams.Must be able to set and attain goals, influence, and initiate action to resolve problems and improve products and processes.Must be able to provide concise, relevant summaries of quality issues, changes needed or made, and results delivered.Knowledge of quality principles and technical tools (problem solving, statistical tools, design of experiments, design for six sigma, control charts, and other quality methodologies) with the ability to train and provide consultation.Advanced computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, charting, presentation graphics, and statistical tools).Proficient in quality improvement, statistical methods, project management, six sigma methodology.Preferred product design knowledge and experience.ENVIRONMENT:

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000 USD per year.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
