 What You will Do:

Organize and supervise a team of 6 to 12 employees with mixed experience levels in completing assigned work [deliverables] on customer funded projectsSupport team member behavioral competency and technical career progression thru development planning and coaching to support individual objectivesInvestigate and resolve personnel related concerns timely in collaboration with other leadership and Human Resources dept where appropriate to optimize employee satisfactionEnsure team members complete and comply with all mandatory training coursesProvide quarterly performance feedback and complete annual performance evaluation to corporate objectives / metrics for self and all direct reportsSupport on-boarding of new employees and request system accesses and tools to execute assigned project workManage 5 to 15 individual projects of varying size by monitoring financial health, verification of completion of customer deliverables to stated requirements, and reporting to customers and internal management on risks and technical issues if they ariseReview project requirements, complete project risk assessments, and generate quotation proposal documentation for internal management review and signature for submission to the customerEnsure all projects are compliant with internal project management procedures as defined in the Quest Global Quality Management System [QMS]Forecasting upcoming workload for self and project team and implementing assignment changes to maximize business performanceReview and validate employee timesheet records per Quest Global policyManage customer relationships thru proactive status reporting and regular cadence meetings to review project health and riskSupport root cause analysis / investigations as needed to resolve project or employee focused issuesEvaluate project deliverables and processes for cost savings thru continuous improvement ideas

What You Will Bring:

5-10 years direct experience within Industrial Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other technical field w/ 2 year degree in a technical discipline OR 9+ years of direct experience w/ no degree0-3 years experience directly supervising other employees preferredProject Management methodology familiarityProject Management Institute certification a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate level competency in MS Office ToolsRoot Cause Analysis / Investigation methods and tools a plus

Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000 annual salary

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in East Hartford, CT, USA

You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.  Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 10% of travel may be required between customer locations.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
