Within the Surveillance & Multi-Mission segment, which is part of the Thales Naval organization we are looking for an experienced Product Project Manager. The Surveillance & Multi-Mission segment is responsible for assuring all activities related to the development and delivery of our Naval and Ground based radar systems to our customers.
About your future job
As Product Project Manager (PPM) you lead a (core) team consisting of the Engineering Delivery Manager (who is managing the engineering Work Packages), Industry Work Package Manager (including supply chain, production and test & integration), Procurement Project Manager and ILS Work Package Manager. As PPM you are responsible for the setup and execution of the Product Projects in close cooperation with the deputy Product Line Manager. Your role includes coordinating across departments to remove obstacles, facilitating communication, and driving the project towards on-time delivery, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards. You work with the Bid and Sales team to ensure that customer requirements are accurately captured and translated into clear project objectives, enabling successful project bids and alignment between customer expectations and project execution. You also collaborate closely with these teams to develop realistic schedules, resource plans, and budgets, ensuring the commercial viability of each project.
