Company Description

Bosch first started its operations in Vietnam in 1994 and registered a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2008. According to the business strategy of Bosch in Vietnam, from 1st July 2014 on all business entities were merged into Bosch Vietnam Co. Ltd. with its head office at Ho Chi Minh City plant (HcP) in Dong Nai Province.

HcP has started its belt assembly in a rented building on 1st August 2008 as the assembly plant of Tilburg Plant (TbP). On 14th April 2011, HcP celebrated the inauguration of the new plant (Lth101 with 17,000 sqm), which did not only allow to increase the production depth, but also to facilitate the push belt assembly of this high-tech product. On 3rd July 2012 HcP marked a big milestone by starting to produce the second component (loop-set) for its push belt. Since November 2012, HcP doubled the production floor space and increase the net total floor space up to 56.000 m², and have successfully increased its production capacity and realized a lot of new line SOP’s.

Job Description

1/ Ensure the products and semi-finished products meet their intended purpose, customer expectations, company regulations, and comply fully with legal requirements.

Develop and implement a quality control system to ensure that products and semi-products meet their intended purpose, fulfill customer expectations, comply with company regulations, and ensure full legal compliance.Frequently review the efficiency of the current quality control system/quality gate; propose and execute improvements or develop new product quality control gates and product testing/measuring procedures.Participate in working teams for developing, implementing, testing, analyzing, revising, and improving processes and product audits.Create/update work instructions for the responsible area and train technicians. Review your own work instructions when internal system audits or relevant guidelines are updated.Production process: Participate in process development, test procedures, and implementation of systems that ensure production processes meet quality standards, comply with safety regulations, and satisfy customer requirements.Operations and maintenance: Collaborate with relevant departments to identify causes of malfunctions or component failures and ensure that repairs are conducted properly.Projects (new releases, capacity increases): Act as a team member/core team member responsible for quality control during installation. Ensure everything is completed according to specifications. If issues arise, find alternative solutions to maintain schedule and budget. Ensure that lessons learned and past quality issues are taken into account in new projects.

2/ Fast reaction/response to issues across multiple areas without compromising quality

Oversee daily quality control activities in manufacturing to ensure quality tasks are performed properly, including: data collection, impact population definition, risk assessment, block & release decisions, etc. Support manufacturing teams in delivering products of good quality in a timely manner. Immediately define countermeasures and/or escalate if a risk of process deviation is detected.Serve as team member/core team member/team leader for problem-solving activities (e.g., NC, PSS, 8D, Shainin). Ensure all non-conformities are fully resolved and follow up on open actions/OPLs until successful closure according to non-conformity handling guidelines.Provide consultation for quality technicians or new quality engineers on complex quality issues

3/ Fulfill Q-KPIs and support relevant strategic projects at QMM/QMM3, contributing to QMM TAC (Target Chart) in the specific year

Monitor/support with PIC to achieve DIO block stock ≤ 3%, with no case exceeding 55 days.Support MSEx to achieve the annual IDC target.Support QZ topics to help achieve AQZ targets as required.Support MSEx in achieving the target of average NC closing time < 60 days.Act as a team member/core team member of assigned strategic projects to fulfill and sustain QMM3's project for the specific year.Support various S-CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) and problem-solving projects, either as a lead or team member/core team member.

4/ Collaborate with IPN and implement the IPN roadmap (relevant activities):

Prepare and set up effective reviews/pre-alignments for change management topics, high-impact quality issues, etc., to avoid surprises and misunderstandings among stakeholders at key milestones.

5/ Support deployment of activities aligned with PS (Power Solution) Vision & Mission, HcP (Ho Chi Minh city Plant) Vision & Mission, safety, 5S requirements, LEAN, and I4.0/Q4.0 initiatives within the organization:

Lead or participate as a team member in assigned projects/tasks.Perform other duties assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

1. Education

University degree (technical background)

2. Work experience

≥2 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.Strong written and oral communication skills to independently prepare and deliver presentations and proposals.Ability to interface with all levels of the organization.Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficient in computer skills including MS Office, SAP, Power BI, and statistical software.Basic knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949).Ability to understand and apply quality prevention methods: FMEA, PRBFM, 8D, PSS, PDCA, VSDiA.
