Product Owner
Job Description We are seeking a Product Owner to oversee the transformation-focused delivery of Workday Recruit enhancements and integrations. This role is embedded in a dedicated Agile pod and works in close partnership with business journey teams, technical delivery leads, and senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring deep Workday HCM expertise, strong Agile delivery experience, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in a regulated, enterprise-scale environment. Key Responsibilities: Delivery Oversight & Agile Execution Own end-to-end delivery of Workday Recruit platform enhancements. Lead daily syncs with pod members (BAAs, BSAs, QEs) to ensure progress, unblock issues, and optimize resources. Manage project plans and serve as the primary escalation point for delivery risks. Partner with tech delivery leads, scrum masters, and RTEs to align engineering execution with business priorities. Oversee delivery of AI-related components, including model risk management (MRM) approvals and Workday integrations. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and model governance. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Interface with senior business leaders (VP/SVP level), providing platform-side updates and delivery insights. Develop executive-ready communications including PowerPoint decks and communication plans. Collaborate with change managers and journey-side Product Owners to align on scope, timelines, and business readiness. Skills and Requirements 3+ years experience as a Product Owner in financial services or large enterprise environments. 2+ years hands-on experience with Workday HCM, ideally including Workday Recruit. 2+ years experience working in Agile delivery environments. Strong understanding of Workday Talent Optimization, Skills Cloud, and Workday integrations. Familiarity with AI/ML model approval processes and enterprise platform integration. Excellent communication and executive reporting skills. Experience managing cross-functional pods and delivering transformation projects. SAFe certification or equivalent Agile delivery experience. Workday Pro certification (HCM or Recruit) with 2+ years of applied experience. Experience with vendor-managed system builds and integrations. Exposure to GenAI use cases and enterprise model deployment. Strong business acumen and ability to guide stakeholders through platform capabilities.
