Product Ownership
Backlog Management: Take epics from the Product Manager and translate them into a well-defined and prioritized product backlog.
Requirements Definition: Break down epics into detailed features and user stories, writing clear acceptance criteria to ensure the development team understands the work.
Collaboration and Validation: Work closely with the Technical Lead, Product Manager and UX/UI designers to validate requirements, ensuring features are both technically feasible and provide an excellent user experience. Work cross functionality with SMEs to ensure all developer questions are answered and documentation is updated.
Prioritization: Continuously refines and prioritize the backlog based on business value, dependencies, and alignment with the Product Manager's quarterly objectives.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with the Product Manager, SMEs and stakeholders to ensure the product backlog is aligned with the overall strategy.
Ceremony Facilitation: Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and remove blockers or issues that hinder the team's progress.
Team Protection: Shield the team from external distractions and non-essential requests.
Performance Metrics: Track and report on key metrics like burndown charts and velocity to monitor progress toward sprint and quarterly goals.
Bug & Defect Management: Triage, validate, and prioritize bugs and defects from both production support and in-sprint and regression testing.
Documentation: Ensure all conversations and decisions are documented on the appropriate tickets.
QA & UAT: Support QA and UAT efforts to ensure requirements and objectives meet the Product Manager and stakeholder vision.
base salary starts at $100K

Skills and Requirements
Proven experience as a Product Owner and/or Scrum Master, preferably in a fintech environment.
Strong understanding of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and design teams.
A knack for translating complex ideas into clear, actionable steps.
Experience with agile project management tools like Linear or Confluence.
Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are a plus. Product Ownership in Fintech
