Product Owner
Position Description:

The Product Owner carries out the product vision, represents users and stakeholders, and ensures that each feature developed contributes to achieving business objectives. They act as a conductor by planning, organizing, and prioritizing the backlog, while ensuring the quality and consistency of the user experience.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Participate in and lead meetings to define business needs;
• Document the scope of changes to be made to the solution (objectives, needs, and processes)
• Gather business and functional requirements.
• Translate business, operational, and functional requirements into user stories for development teams
• Communicate and clarify the initiative's objectives to the team
• Communicate and manage the transfer of features to cross-functional teams
• Lead presentations of improvements made at the end of a feature's development
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Ensure the results comply with business requirements
• Actively participate in maintaining the product backlog
• Actively participate in various Agile ceremonies (e.g., SAFe ceremonies)
• Participate in the validation and acceptance of implemented solutions
• Collaborate with those responsible for documentation, training, and communication for the publication of new features
• Produce high-level user guides

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Degree in IT, business analysis, or product management
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience and knowledge of agile and SAFe methodology
• Understanding of the business and usage context of an integrated human capital management-payroll solution
• Experience in software evaluation/development
• Client-oriented
• Excellent organizational skills
• Rigor, autonomy, and initiative
• A good team player and comfortable in a constantly changing environment
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Fluent in French and English
• IIBA and POPM certifications are an asset
• Knowledge of payroll and HR is an asset

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
