Product Owner
Description Position Summary The client a is seeking a high level Product Owner to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of its Human Resources technology platforms. This role will be instrumental in standing up the client’s HR systems infrastructure, inheriting select platforms from the client, and establishing new processes and workflows tailored to the needs of a newly formed organization. The Product Owner will oversee a suite of HR technologies including SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, SmartRecruiters, and Clickboarding, ensuring these platforms are integrated, scalable, and aligned with the client’s operational goals. Key Responsibilities • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the client’s HR platforms, from system intake to roadmap execution. • Lead the transition and stabilization of inherited systems from the client, ensuring continuity and readiness for Day 1 operations. • Define and execute product roadmaps aligned with the client’s destination architecture and long-term HR strategy. • Collaborate with HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure seamless platform integrations and user experience. • Establish and document new workflows, processes, and SOPs for a greenfield organization. • Prioritize product backlogs, write user stories, and lead agile ceremonies to drive iterative development. • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure HR systems meet compliance, reporting, and employee experience requirements. Qualifications • Minimum 6 years of experience in product management or product ownership, with at least 3 years focused on HR systems and enterprise platforms. • Proven experience owning entire platforms or systems, not just individual features. • Hands-on experience with SAP HCM (HR modules) and SAP SuccessFactors is required. • Familiarity with SmartRecruiters and Clickboarding is strongly preferred. • Strong understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and system integrations. • Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and build structure from the ground up. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. SAP HCM is an on-premise system designed for core HR operations such as personnel administration, payroll, and time management. SAP SuccessFactors is a cloud-based platform focused on strategic HR functions like talent acquisition, performance management, and workforce analytics. For this role, candidates must have hands-on experience with HR-specific modules in both SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors. Experience with general SAP modules (e.g., financials or logistics) is not applicable. *Preferrable that candidates are commutable to NYC or LA* *Candidates must be willing to convert between 140-160k base salary* Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $90.00/hr.
