Description This client is seeking a High level Product Owner to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of its TV Everywhere platform, which powers consumer-facing applications across 4–5 major entertainment brands. This role will be instrumental in shaping the user experience across mobile and connected TV platforms, ensuring seamless access to live and on-demand content for authenticated users. The Product Owner will oversee applications across platforms such as iOS, Android, tvOS, Roku, Samsung Smart TV, and other connected devices. They will inherit existing applications from the client and play a key role in evolving the platform architecture, optimizing performance, and defining new features and workflows for the client’s future-state consumer experience. Key Responsibilities • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the client’s TV Everywhere applications, across mobile and connected TV platforms. • Lead the transition and stabilization of inherited apps from NBCUniversal, ensuring continuity and readiness for Day 1 operations. • Define and execute product roadmaps aligned with the client's destination architecture and long-term consumer strategy. • Collaborate with engineering, design, QA, and brand stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable app experiences. • Prioritize product backlogs, write user stories, and lead agile ceremonies to drive iterative development. • Establish and document new workflows, processes, and SOPs for a greenfield organization. • Ensure platform compliance with authentication standards, content entitlements, and device-specific requirements. • Monitor app performance, user engagement, and feedback to inform continuous improvement. Qualifications • Minimum 6 years of experience in product management or product ownership, with at least 3 years focused on consumer-facing applications. • Proven experience owning entire platforms or systems, not just individual features. • Hands-on experience with both mobile (iOS, Android) and connected TV platforms (e.g., tvOS, Roku, Samsung, Fire TV). • Strong understanding of DTC application workflows, including authentication, entitlement, and content delivery. • Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and build structure from the ground up. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
