Role Overview
Airswift is seeking a strategic and dynamic Product Owner to support data-driven initiatives within the legal function of a leading oil & gas company. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about data, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. The Product Owner will lead the Data & Insights product line, driving transformation through actionable insights and emerging technologies.
Job DescriptionThe Product Owner will be responsible for guiding the vision, strategy, and execution of legal data products. This includes managing the product backlog, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring agile delivery practices are followed. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product management, technical acumen, and the ability to align product goals with broader business objectives.
Responsibilities Define and communicate product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives and user needs. Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity and readiness for development teams. Collaborate with legal, compliance, engineering, and business units to gather requirements and validate solutions. Facilitate backlog refinement ceremonies and maintain Azure DevOps hygiene. Promote shared ownership and agile delivery across teams. Lead and contribute to the development of product documentation. Stay current on trends in application integrations, APIs, data products, ingestion/transformation, and AI. Ensure product releases adhere to internal compliance and governance standards. Collaborate with other Law Platform product lines (governance, risk and compliance, matter management, transactions). Requirements Deep understanding of product lifecycle, value frameworks, and agile delivery models. Ability to align product initiatives with broader business goals and translate strategy into actionable plans. Proven experience working with diverse teams across legal, technical, and operational domains. Skilled in drafting and reviewing product documentation. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Scrum, Kanban, and PI planning practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions and workshops. Technical acumen in application integrations, APIs, data products, data ingestion and transformation, and AI technologies.
