Adecco is assisting one of their top clients with their search to fill a **Product Owner!**
Pay: $67/hr
Location: Hybrid (4 days in the office and Friday remote)
Shift: Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm
Contract: Temp
**Job Description:**
The Strategic Account/EDI Product Owner formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. The Product Owner devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. The Product Owner includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications. The Product Owner is competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. The Product Owner operates under general direction and guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.
**Responsibilities for this Product Owner include but are not limited to:**
· Partner with IT Application and Project Managers as well as Business stakeholders to identify business goals; document current state business/technical processes and data flows; document future state processes and data flows; document gap analysis between current state and future state
· Lead requirements gathering, analysis and verification to write requirement statements that are complete, consistent, concise, accurate, traceable, and verifiable
· Identify impacted business and IT areas, seek appropriate representatives across the teams, and lead discussions to identify issues, impacts, possible solutions and project estimates
· Partner with Tech teams to understand and document current system functions and limitations
· Partner with Technical and Architecture resources to design possible, feasible solutions, leveraging current assets as appropriate and consistent with the broader enterprise direction
· Lead discussions and design sessions involving the appropriate resources in decisions concerning UIs, data flows, data integrity, data integration, system integrations, business process reengineering and project phasing
· Ensure clarity between Trade Partners (TP), Business and IT to ensure that IT/EDI knows what needs to be built and the business agrees the solution meets the need
· Partner with TP, Technical, QA and Business to verify the solution solves business needs and functions as agreed.
**Experience required for this Product Owner person position include:**

· Proficiency in performing the Product Owner role in at least one project methodology with ability to learn and adapt to new methodologies quickly (e.g. waterfall and agile)
· Deep understanding of ANSI X12 standards and XML.
· Extensive experience and demonstrated knowledge of at least one relevant business area and one relevant EDI technical area of integration
· Functioning knowledge of and sensitivity to Organizational Change Management
· Proven experience in requirements gathering tools, processes and procedures
· Proven ability to lead, influence, negotiate and persuade including ensuring projects continue to progress
· Solid interpersonal skills: ability to effectively present information and respond to questions across all levels of the organization; and cultivate relationships with internal and external customers to achieve business objectives
**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
· Bachelor’s degree; and 5-7 years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

**Pay Details:** $67.00 per hour
