We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions. **The Role:** The **Product Owner, AI and Software** is a senior-level position responsible to develop and execute AI and DS product strategy, product roadmap, product adoption, and lead complex AI/ML and software product development projects and initiatives. This role involves understanding business drives, client painpoint, identifying the right problems to convert the opportunities into solutions, and working with AI engineers, data scientists and software developers to deliver the final AI and DS products for business benefits. PO will also assume some of the agile scrum master responsibilities to run these AI and DS projects, allocate, track and manage time and resources accordingly. Additionally, this role involves may mentor and train junior staff and provide technical expertise to support continuous improvement efforts. **Core Responsibilities:** _Product Ownership:_ + Lead the development and evolution of AI/ML, Data and integrated software products that support business needs. + Own the product roadmap, defining clear and actionable goals that align with the strategic direction of the company and the needs of the engineering and development team. + Gather and prioritize requirements from product stakeholders, technical and functional to define the “What” and “Why” of product development. _Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:_ + Work closely with data consumers (Digital and business if any), AI and software engineers, and platform engineers to ensure the product meets both functional and technical requirements. + Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams (including E&D, analytics, operations) to ensure alignment and ensure the product strategy is supported by business cases and industry standards. _Product Delivery:_ + Oversee the agile product development process, ensuring smooth AI and software product delivery from initial conception to ongoing iterations. + Manage stories, Jira tasks to ensure timely and successful sprints, address challenges, and resolve any ambiguities. + Manage backlog prioritization, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term goals and breakthrough ideas. + Manage resource and scheduling of AI and software development projects to ensure budgetary needs and _Continuous Improvement:_ + Track the performance and impact of the product post-launch, gathering feedback to drive continuous improvements and enhancements. + Monitor user satisfaction, adoption, and scientific outcomes to ensure the product evolves to meet the needs of researchers and business goals. _Technical Leadership & Strategic Vision:_ + Bring an AI/ML development portfolio processes to align the corresponding product vision to real needs. + Inspire and lead a project team of AI engineers, data scientists and software developers by articulating a clear vision for the product and demonstrating the potential for innovative solutions. **Qualifications:** + Master’s Degree in: Applied Physics, Applied Math, Data Science, Electrical Computer Engineering/ Mechatronics/Biomedical Engineering, or other related science or engineering fields. + Minimum 5 years product development or product management work experience, prior work experience related to Water, Oil & Gas, Non-Destructive Testing industries and experience in electromagnetic or ultrasonic technologies is a plus. + 2+ years hands-on engineering design and development, or software programming, ML/AI development experience. + Demonstrated experience or ability to lead digital product’s technical roadmap development, strong understanding of AI/ML and digital products, and their life cycle management. + Proficiency with Jira and Confluence, cloud environment such as AWS or GCP. + Strong drive and ability to articulate product development vision and align teams around shared goals. + Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, particularly with scientists, engineers, and executive stakeholders. + Proven ability to make strategic decisions, overcome roadblocks, and deliver results in a fast-paced, complex environment. + Leadership skills to inspire and guide both technical and non-technical teams toward successful product delivery.
