Important information:

This is a hybrid role based out of SAP Vancouver office, working in-office with the team 3 days per week.  Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada at the time of application. What you'll do

 

Our team is responsible for Product Marketing for the SAP Business Technology Platform. This role is focused on Product Marketing for the AI capabilities of SAP BTP, specifically the web/digital journey and the mapping through to awareness and adoption. As a Product Marketing Senior Consultant focused on web strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital experience and storytelling around these transformative AI technologies, connecting developers, partners, and customers to the future of enterprise innovation.

Your work will have a direct impact on BTP’s success with AI: You will help define, validate, guide, execute, and communicate the value proposition of these products. You will provide an outside-in view of the market, determine new AI scenarios, rationalize our GTM approach, create thought leadership content, and support analyst briefings and field enablement efforts.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Web Journey Optimization: Enhance user experience across all relevant webpages, ensuring seamless navigation and engagement. SEO/SEM Management: Develop and implement strategies to improve search engine rankings and optimize for AI Assistants. Message Testing: Collaborate with the team to conduct message testing, refining our messaging and positioning to effectively communicate AI capabilities. Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze web traffic and content performance, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and development teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.

University Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science / Information Technology / Business Administration Understanding of AI market trends, SAP’s application and AI portfolio, and the broader developer AI space Experience working with B2B sales organizations supporting sales cycles, building technical demos, and engaging directly with customers and prospects Self-starter with a passion to be a hands-on expert in the required field Customer orientation with a strong focus on qualit 5 years of working experience in enterprise software

SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 102,400 - 214,300 CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
