About the Job
The Red Hat Ansible Product Marketing team is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join us in Raleigh or Durham, NC. In this position, you will bring technical skills and background to a product marketing role. This is a unique opportunity to apply existing skills in a new way, connecting technical knowledge and the intersection of AI and product marketing.
What You Will Do
Connect technical knowledge of software products and use it to assist in product launches
Lead and influence development of content to help gain mindshare and drive customer wins, e.g., messaging, thought leadership, presentations, sales plays, demos, reference architectures, battlecards, webpages, win wires, etc.
Evangelize Red Hat Ansible both internally and externally via webinars, social media, roadshows, industry events, customer briefings, sales training workshops, etc.
Apply technical knowledge to an interest in using AI to build better internal solutions for marketing effectiveness
Leverage AI tools like Gemini to create, manage, and automate GTM workflows and planning
Collaborate with technical marketing and product management on go-to-market strategy, including roadmap, positioning, messaging, and content plans
What You Will Bring
2+ years of product or technical marketing experience, preferably with B2B technology companies
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree is a plus
Critical thinking skills with a proven ability to develop creative solutions
Ability to translate technical features into user experiences
Solid written and verbal communication and presentation skills; experience presenting is a plus
Ability to work with some supervision in a startup-like environment
Hands-on technical experience in scripting languages like YAML, Bash or Python
Experience with the following technologies is a plus - Ansible, Terraform, IT Automation, Configuration Management, Provisioning, IT Operations, Networking, Cloud technologies, Containers, Kubernetes, VMware, etc.
Experience with public cloud offerings like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure, Event driven architectures, AI/ML, Edge computing a plus
Willingness to travel 10-25%
The salary range for this position is $77,520.00 - $124,020.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
