Role and Responsibilities

How You Make a Difference

As Product Manager Smartphones, you own the full smartphone category within Samsung Netherlands. From flagship models to mass-market series, you steer the product strategy, manage forecasting and stock levels, and lead go-to-market execution for multiple product launches each year.

You translate market intelligence into product strategy and turn data into action — working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Supply Chain, Channel Marketing and HQ. You play a key role in ensuring that our products reach consumers in the right way, at the right time, and with the right message.

Key Responsibilities

Define and manage the full smartphone portfolio (flagship to A-series)Build and execute go-to-market strategies, including product launches and promotionsEnsure strong forecasting and stock management in collaboration with SCMDeliver product presentations and strategic updates to internal and external stakeholdersTranslate market and competitor insights into pricing, positioning, and assortmentAnalyze performance data (sell-in, sell-out, 3rd party) to optimize resultsMonitor the 4Ps and ensure alignment across the entire marketing mixCollaborate with EU office and HQ for alignment and reportingRun ad-hoc research and reporting for strategic projects (EU/Korea)

A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Marketing or EconomicsProven experience in product/category management, preferably in consumer electronicsStrong communication and presentation skills in Dutch and EnglishConfident with data, reporting, and building clear business casesAbility to manage stakeholders and challenge decisions where neededAffinity with technology, smartphones and digital ecosystems
