Product Manager - S&OP, Mexico Consumer
As a Product Manager in Sales & Operations Planning, you will lead initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy and planning efficiency across Amazon's network. The role focuses on leveraging tools and data to automate S&OP execution while improving accuracy at scale. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, monitor key metrics, and implement automated solutions that optimize inventory flow and enhance customer experience. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, experience in process automation, stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights that minimize total fulfillment costs while meeting the business needs.

Key job responsibilities
- Create and align weekly operational plans by analyzing retail inventory flows, ensuring effective resource utilization and minimizing excess inventory across demand and supply flows.

- Lead cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities for improvement and bring automated solutions that enhance forecasting accuracy and planning efficiency.

- Monitor and improve key metrics including forecast accuracy, planning efficiency, and inventory health optimization.

- Drive projects aligned to focused initiatives that improve operational efficiency and inventory management.

A day in the life
- Produce weekly inventory flows.
- Analyze performance and accuracy data of key metrics.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Instock Managers and Operations teams.
- Drive projects focused on improving forecast accuracy and inventory health metrics.

- We are a program management organization. We own the problem statement for MX supply chain tools and partner with tech teams to develop a solution.
- We aim to deliver products or processes that significantly/structurally improve thstatus quo.
- We operate in the supply chain space cutting across multiple functions (Business, Technology and Operations), our initiatives require collaboration of multiple teams.
- We optimize for MX LT FCF Impact.
- We continuously explore opportunities to scale business in the most efficient way (e.g. automation, vendor self-service).
- We drive adaptation and adoption of global supply chain tools in MX.
