Product Manager - Payments - Vice President

As a Product Manager in Small Business Merchant Services, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. **Job responsibilities** + Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers + Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap + Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition + Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability + Partners closely with product and engineering teams to deliver against the roadmap, sequencing the capability delivery for ongoing launches that optimize the experience over time + Leads the strategy development and oversee execution of product enhancements. Obsess over client experience, ensuring that products resonate with clients and deliver exceptional value + Provides clear vision and scope documentation, use cases, product requirements/epics/stories to support development + Present your capabilities to the appropriate legal, risk, controls, and compliance forums to review any risks and mitigation plans associated with the product launches + Owns product delivery end-to-end, including partnering with a commercialization lead on downstream implications for marketing, sales, servicing, and other client-facing personnel + Navigates ambiguous environments, using strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to drive clarity and direction **Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills** + 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area + Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics + Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management + Aptitude to learn, solve challenging problems and a passion to deliver great user experiences + Experience building SaaS products for businesses, with a strong track record of success; experience in designing/building solutions with modern technology stacks including APIs, microservices, public cloud, etc. + Experience partnering with engineering and design teams in bring products to market + Proven track record of managing new product launches and managing the end-to-end product lifecycle for complex, large-scale initiatives + An obsession with customer research, product fidelity and user experience + Strong leadership presence and ability to influence and partner across cross-functional teams; as well as strong verbal/presentation and written communication skills + Ability to synthesize ambiguous customer needs into clear product requirements + Master's or Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business, finance, or a related field **Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills (7 Bullets Max)** + Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization + Previous experience and proven success with tech innovation and digital transformation initiatives JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
