Your Role:

 

The Oncology Product Manager is a crucial role within the commercial team and is responsible for leading the brand strategy, execution and measurement to support the commercial success of our oral Oncology portfolio. This individual is accountable developing overarching marketing strategies and tactics, monitoring and diagnosing brand performance, and preparing business updates for leadership. They will work closely with sales, medical, and digital engagement teams to ensure strategic execution and a performance-oriented culture.

 

The Oncology Product Manager is required to have a deep understanding of Specialty market, preferably, and Oncology market. This role will involve cross-functional collaboration, project management skills and require the lead to champion the brand both internally and externally.  This position reports to the Business Unit Director. This role is critical to build on our company’s heritage in Oncology and grow its leadership.

 

Responsibilities

Own brand positioning, branding, campaign, and core messagingLead cross-functional team to successfully develop and execute an annual integrated brand plan, including robust budgets, prioritization of appropriate tactics, and a strong KPI measurement plan to blunt competitionDevelop marketing tactical plans for key market-shaping and branded activities driven by a deep understanding of market dynamics to achieve key business objectivesWork with internal and external partners to define success metrics and analyze performance of marketing programs on an ongoing basis, ensuring plans are optimized as needed to improve impact, adjust strategy and tactics accordingly, and develop recommendations for future planProvide thought leadership for market and therapeutic area understanding across all the levels of organization  Ensure appropriate channel mix and content strategyPartner with digital engagement team to develop strategy, execution and measurement for all digital promotion including omnichannel engagement. Lead the brand value team to develop stakeholder insights that are actionable; Ensure awareness and education of key internal stakeholdersOversee the planning and execution of brand commercial tactics for all congresses, ensuring alignment with overarching strategyDevelop and manage strategy, planning, and execution for advisory boards, integrating insights to optimize marketing plans and associated executionEffectively manage the Brand Marketing budget and collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize spend and maximize the value of investmentsEffectively contribute to short and long-term brand forecastingWork with Portfolio Marketing to ensure effective management of brand resourcesPartner with training and sales leadership to optimize the development and utilization of personal resources and ensure appropriate rollout to field teams; Deliver Field Force training and communications as neededLead team in liaising with training to develop and present brand strategic onboarding deck at all training classesCollaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Regional and Global Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Digital Engagement, Controlling, P2P, and Market Access to advance brandOversee and support promotional material through legal, medical, and regulatory review processes, interpreting scientific data to develop compelling promotional messagesManage agency partner relationships, maintaining a focus on marketing excellence and flawless execution of key tactics and deliverablesDevelop and align on KTL quarterly key insights questions with BVT; Engage with thought leaders to gather input on commercial strategy and execution, and market dynamicsConduct field visitsOther duties as assigned. 

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

BS degree or MS degree 6+ years of experience6+ years proven experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industrySpecialty experience, preferably in the field of Oncology, including an understanding of the landscape, community and academic Oncology dynamics, Payer landscape, Pharmacy stakeholders3+ years of marketing experience collaborating with design firms and internal teams to execute brand strategies and drive strategic marketing initiatives.Ability to travel up to 40%

MBA or advanced degree strongly preferredProficient in digital marketingProven project and vendor management skills including budget management, planning, prioritization, objective setting, and logistics executionExcellent communications skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing, track record of effective and influential presentations to external and internal stakeholdersProven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teamsResults-oriented, exhibits leadership skills, and ability to influence without authorityStrong analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skillsDemonstrated ability and eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment, striving for excellence in everything you do, alongside a team that is driven by improving the lives of patientsHigh ethical standards and personal integrityProficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.Launch experience (pre and post launch)Experience presenting to different levels of the organizations to individuals and groups as well as respond succinctly and clearly to any questions and challenges while presentingDemonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal and external partners
