Product Manager - mining systems

Required:
A bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field.
10 years product management experience preferably in mining safety.
10 years’ experience in the mining industry.
Deep understanding of monitoring systems/instrumentation/safety products used in mining.
Strong project management skills and a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and in budget.
Responsibilities:
Product strategy and vision:
Formulate product and market strategy based in deep understanding of market trends and competitor offerings.
Product development:
Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance
Conduct research and development
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
Coordinate lab testing, on site testing and site trials
Product management:
Responsible for document configuration of designs, certifications, approvals, training manuals, BOM’s, test and trial results.
Quality assurance:
Implement testing protocols and address any product deficiencies
Market launch:
Develop and execute go to market strategy, including product positioning, pricing and promotional activities
Post launch management:
Monitor product performance and gather user feedback for continuous improvement
Develop strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
