Product Manager for New Product Introduction

We are looking for a dynamic Product Manager - NPI (New Product Introduction) to champion the voice of the customer and drive the successful market launch of new software products and features for the HP consumer experience. In this role, you will be the expert on our customers, the market, and the competitive landscape. You will translate deep customer insights into powerful positioning and go-to-market strategies for a portfolio of related products, ensuring they meet and exceed customer expectations from day one.

A successful candidate is an analytical storyteller who is passionate about understanding user behavior. You are adept at designing research, running experiments, and using data to inform strategy. Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of comprehensive go-to-market strategies for a portfolio of new products, from initial positioning to launch and post-launch optimization.

Act as the primary voice of the customer, designing and conducting a continuous cycle of qualitative and quantitative research, including customer interviews, usability testing, surveys, and A/B experiments.

Analyze and synthesize complex data from multiple sources—including product analytics, market research, and user feedback—to generate actionable insights that inform product strategy and messaging.

Define the product’s market position, translating technical capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions and messaging that resonate with target audiences.

Collaborate deeply with Product Management to influence feature prioritization based on customer needs and market opportunities.

Work in close partnership with User Experience (UX) and Industrial Design (ID) teams to ensure the end-to-end customer journey aligns with the product promise and delivers a superior experience.

Create and deliver high-impact sales enablement materials, including training documents, presentations, and competitive analysis to equip sales and marketing teams for success.

Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators for product launches, using data to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

Proven track record in product marketing or a closely related role, with experience in a software-focused technology company being essential. Experience with hardware products is a strong plus.

Demonstrable experience taking a new product or significant feature from 0 -> 1 in the market, driving successful launch and adoption.

Expertise in designing and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative research methods to understand customer behavior and validate hypotheses.

A strong analytical and statistical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make principled, data-driven decisions. A background in data science or analytics is highly desirable.

Experience working closely with User Experience (UX) teams is required; experience collaborating with Industrial Design (ID) teams is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to manage GTM strategies for multiple products simultaneously within a portfolio.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional ability to work in resource-constrained environments.
