Product Manager-European Defined Contributions

The selected candidate will be responsible for executing the strategy for the Defined Contributions Pensions Product across Europe with responsibilities that include:

Performing launches and post launch assessments/ recommendations.Responsible for Product Management Lifecycle activities such as defining the target client segment market and evaluating industry trends and uncovering opportunities.Developing market insight by defining the target client segment markets and evaluating European Defined Contribution industry trends.Formulating strategy for the group by aligning cross functional teams, uncovering opportunities and determining life cycle statesShaping the value proposition, develop the business case and define the marketing mix model as part of the new product planning processLead in introducing new products to the market by securing regulatory approvals, publishing marketing material and conducting sales trainingAssessing industry movement and refine value based pricing post the launch of new product.Attending and presenting at industry events and publish in industry publicationsProviding sales support including presenting at client and prospect meetingsCreating strategies for cross-program coordination and go-to market rolloutsCarries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issuesDisplays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivityConducts post launch audits, tracks product success, analyses P &L, metrics, KPIs, Makes recommendations for improvements to promotional programs

The ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following skills & experience:

Proven ability to lead initiatives relating to client segmentation, evaluating market trends and uncovering opportunitiesPrior experience serving as a multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertiseExcellent oral and written communication skills are required. Proficient in constructing/overseeing logical and conclusive presentations, distilling complex subject matter into management-ready materialsProven track record in building key relationships, influencing and negotiating with clients, partners and leaders across multiple disciplinesPrior program or project management experience is advantageous; planning, analysis, design and governanceStrong knowledge of business strategy development is necessary to provide long term planning and to manage the profitability/performance of a major business segment.Leadership and organizational skills to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff.A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience.
