Global Sales & Services Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartner's mission-critical sales priorities and works with sales & services leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team, you'll be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartner's sales force, which delivers approximately $4.9B in annual revenue and working to drive sustained double-digit growth. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support a global sales force comprised of more than 5,000 associates who sell to every major function, industry and market sector around the world.
About this role:
The Product Manager, Marketing Technology is part of the Sales & Marketing Technologies team in GSSO. This team focuses on leveraging Marketing technologies to improve sales productivity and the overall seller experience.
We are seeking a product manager with a track record of leading ideation, design and delivery, and ongoing management of innovative Marketing technology. The right person can develop trust-based relationships and move towards the important vs. the interesting. What you’ll do:
Own business requirement gathering, definition and prioritization to inform the product delivery roadmaps and long-term vision that results in business impact.Work closely with IT to define and execute product delivery plans including resolution of day-to-day risks and issues that are obstacles to delivery.Own the day-to-day management of select products and features within the Marketing Technology portfolio in addition to designing and delivering enhancements.Drive operational improvements and automation capabilities to improve efficiency, throughput, and quality across the technology delivery and deployment processes.Analyze current operations through common data analysis practices to assess current performance and identify key opportunitiesEvolve the usage analytics to identify unknown/unforeseen user behavior and technology anomalies to further improve tools and quickly identify production issues.Support the required organizational change to ensure products are impactful at scale including change programs, communications, and trainings.Support in managing and influencing stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Sales Ops, and IT to champion the Marketing technology roadmap.What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree required4-6 years of experience with mix across business operations, technology or analyticsMinimum of 1-2 years supporting business processes related to Marketing and Sales, ideally on an industry-leading Marketing automation platform (e.g. Salesforce, Oracle/Eloqua, etc.) and related Marketing technology.Demonstrated ability to solve complex/unstructured business problems through the lens of curiosity and a desire to learn.Familiarity with using SQL to analyze data requiredExperience in delivering and supporting B2B technology solutions or capabilities towards a product vision.Strong knowledge of technology delivery methods with high emphasis on working with teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.Proven track record of collaborating with multiple stakeholders and teams across business and IT teams.Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailIndependent, self-starter with high integrity capable of driving progress with minimal supervisionExperience with Python or R preferredWhat you will get:
