Product Manager
Position Description:

We are Canada's largest independent information technology services firm, and we are still growing! We are expanding in Atlantic Canada, and we need your skills, enthusiasm, and dedication as part of our team. This is an exciting time for CGI, and we want you to be part of it. We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software product life cycle, with extensive experience in translating business requirements to actionable requirements.
This position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days a week in any CGI Atlantic location: Halifax, NS, Moncton or Fredericton, NB, Stratford, PE, or St. John's, NL.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
. Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business value, technical feasibility, and delivery timelines.
. Translate high-level business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
. Partner closely with Scrum Masters, UX/UI Designers, and Engineering teams to ensure efficient sprint planning and execution.
. Serve as the voice of the customer, driving decisions that maximize user satisfaction and business outcomes.
. Leverage data, feedback, and KPIs to identify opportunities for product enhancement and continuous improvement.
. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear alignment between delivery progress and business goals.
. Participate in sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning to ensure quality, transparency, and alignment.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 7–9 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst in Agile environments.
. Proven success managing software products through the full lifecycle — from conception to launch and ongoing iteration.
. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, and Confluence.
. Ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
. Experience working with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, Design, and DevOps.
. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
. Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to align business and technical stakeholders

Good to have:
. CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner) certification.
. Experience in Scaled Agile (SAFe) or multi-team delivery environments.
. Exposure to UX design principles and user research methodologies.
. Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Mixpanel).
. Background in technical domains such as software engineering, cloud solutions, or data analytics.
. Healthcare industry experience
