Product Manager
Job Description The contractor will be responsible for managing our product and positioning copy across our sign-up, plan switch, upsell, and cancel flows, including copy experiments. This is a global role with broad scope across all platforms that our products are offered — website, mobile app, and streaming devices. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of processes and workflows, is a self-starter and collaborator, acts independently with little supervision, and is ultimately accountable for accurate copy across all our commerce touchpoints. In addition, this role will partner with other functions across the organization to drive new technology to simplify and accelerate copy management for features and experiments. Responsibilities: ● Become the subject matter expert in the process, technology, and operations for copy management across our commerce flows. ● Work cross-functionally with our Product, Marketing, and Localization teams to add and update copy across all our commerce flows in a timely and accurate manner, inline with new launches, legal updates, or other changes as needed. ● Partner with our Engineering teams to master how our copy structure, syntax, and logic works today, striving make our copy management systems best in class ● Deliver clear and comprehensive matrices of all copy associated with the underlying technology driving copy, and ensure accuracy with internal regional and domestic stakeholders, Product and Engineering. ● Document and drive improvements in velocity and efficiency with our process, platform capabilities, and tooling. ● Own the execution for copy experimentation across commerce touchpoints, and work to bring the latest copy experimentation capabilities to our services. Skills and Requirements ● Bachelor’s degree and background in internal workflows and technology, preferably at a global scale. ● Extremely detail-oriented and has both a business and technical mindset ● Operate at multiple altitudes, from tactical copy updates to driving platform improvements. ● Solid understanding of UX best practices ● Strong written and verbal skills with a focus on collaborating cross-functionally ● Ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations and a fast-paced environment with constantly evolving business needs.
