Kforce has a client that is seeking a Product Manager. This contract to hire role will be onsite 3 days a week in either Phoenix, AZ or Walnut Creek, CA. Summary: The Product Manager III may provide guidance to other product managers for numerous projects focusing on AAA corporate goals. This individual will apply best practices and established strategic guidelines to assignments and has primary responsibility for products in a line of business. The Product Manager III also exercises some discretion in determining the best method to accomplish assigned tasks, determining priorities, the best methods to use when directing team efforts, and resolving product design and enhancement challenges. Duties: * Manage multiple projects related to the Web, systems or applications, tracking key requirements and metrics to ensure that the final product meets objectives * Leads more complex product development or enhancement activities, including a comprehensive analysis of the market, competitive position and customer research * Mentors, guides and influences other product managers in defining the product strategy and roadmap for assigned business, systems or application products * Proposes and recommends goals, metrics and objectives for online products, applications or systems and plans assigned projects to help achieve department goals * Provides input to recommended changes to policies and guidelines * Acts as point of contact for the relationship with business and technology partners to gather and understand requirements, and to deliver product roadmap * Works actively with the business and team to resolve issues * Exercises discretion in determining priorities and the best methods to use when directing team efforts and resolving product design or enhancement challenges * Provides research or develops options, and makes recommendations to effectively address design and enhancement issues * Integrates work schedules and collaborates with engineers
