Product Manager

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Product Manager. This is a hyrbid work opportunity. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Galesburg MI or Southfield MI. 
 
The Product Manager is responsible for the development and execution of product line strategies that bring value to the marketplace. This role will function as an expert in the Aftermarket Clutch product line for the organization. You will be responsible for pricing strategy, competitor strategies, vocational strategies, marketing activities, life cycle management and project management. This role is accountable for growing the product line offering, and achieving sales, margin and market share goals. 
 
The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year.

What you’ll do:

Strategy 

Develop, execute, and track product line strategies that will drive the sales and marketing effort for assigned product lines. Update annually or as needed. Use tools to track performance on a monthly basis  Develop competitor and vocational strategies and operating plansExecute product line initiatives to achieve sales and profit objectivesDeliver projects, new opportunities, and necessary reports on time and within budget to achieve desired resultsDevelop cost reduction initiatives to improve competitive positioningMeasure, develop, and recommend pricing and quote strategies to achieve overall product line profitability objectives. Ensure all quote objectives are reviewed and align with the organization strategyMeasure effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives to provide feedback of what does and does not work in the field.Develop and demonstrate proficiency in systems available to measure resultsAbility to proactively address changing conditions (markets, customers, pricing, competition, etc.)

Planning

Plan annual product line activities and manage to the defined launch calendarParticipate in PP and Strat Plan processes as requiredDevelop and implement annual pricing strategies for each product line to meet pricing targets while insuring market competitiveness

Control

Provide regular analysis of each product lines’ performance against PP goalsUse tracking templates to monitor programs and provide feedback to sales group; measurement should include by PSM, territory, and region against pre-defined
targets for each group.Measure effectiveness and recommend changes of product line strategies based upon identified strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats

Customer Satisfaction

Development of product line training programsMaintain product line catalog information and cross referencesMaintain customer contact to facilitate flow of market intelligenceMaintain product content updated on websiteQualifications:

Basic Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution  Minimum 7 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Program Management, Product Management and/or Project Management Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
