As a Product Manager, you will coordinate product management, customer service, and technical service teams, ensuring seamless alignment with market needs and scientific advancements. This role requires close collaboration with other business units, as well as the Sales and Marketing teams, to develop competitive go-to-market models.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive business plan, build the organization, and craft operational workflows.Lead the end-to-end strategy and operations for the full product portfolio, including instrumentation, consumables, software, and other solutions.Maintain a coordinated view of product offerings to build tailored solutions that address customer workflows and industry trends.Drive efforts to deliver an outstanding customer experience across the affiliate.Manage multi-disciplinary teams, including product managers, customer service, and technical support, to ensure cohesive execution and customer happiness.Coordinate annual and multi-year planning processes, including market analysis, product roadmap development, sales forecasting, and budget planning.Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, and global divisions to align local execution with global strategy and implement key initiatives.Serve as the voice of the customer by conducting market research and voice of customer (VOC) analysis for data-driven decision-making.Monitor performance metrics to ensure that targets related to product performance, customer experience, and business outcomes are achieved or surpassed.Represent the business unit in leadership forums and external customer engagements as needed.QualificationsMaster’s degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Business, or related field required; PhD or equivalent experience in Life Sciences strongly preferred.Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role coordinating product, service, or divisional operations within the life sciences or laboratory tools industry.Proven experience in building commercial organizations and functions.Demonstrated success in leading sophisticated product portfolios and cross-functional teams in a matrixed, customer-focused organization.Deep understanding of scientific workflows and customer needs in academic, clinical, pharmaceutical, or biotech research environments.Strong business insight with expertise in forecasting, discernment, and P&L management.Outstanding leadership, communication, and customer management skills.Join our team and be part of a remarkable organization that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the world.
