About the Role
Lex Machina, the LexisNexis Legal Analytics platform, is looking for a Product Manager with a passion for innovating and shaping the continuous improvement and expansion of legal technology products.
Are you excited to build the best legal analytics in the market? Do you want to be a part of bringing legal analytics to all areas of the law and delighting customers? Collaborating with artificial intelligence experts (e.g., computer linguists and machine learning engineers) is an important part of the role. In addition, your understanding of the user experience via front-end design and backend infrastructure to support creating new legal data sets is critical.
Responsibilities
· Gathering, evaluating and understanding customer use cases
· Creating processes and aligning and coaching the team to ensure customer needs are met
· Leveraging and identifying metrics and data to track progress on customer needs and project budgets
· Developing clear go-to-market launch plans through coordinated development with external, customer-facing teams
· Driving key end-to-end lifecycle components, from planning to release.
· Writing clear requirements for complex features or products
Requirements:
· Be a natural problem solver and able to take a lead in collaborating to resolve issues
· Have the ability to interact professionally and effectively with internal and external customers.
· Have experience in mentoring or training others and acting as a subject matter expert to guide colleagues
· Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to build relationships with customers and stakeholders
· Be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills when dealing with multiple priorities, and be able to think analytically
· Be able to demonstrate product development knowledge, including developing related business cases, content, and product plans
· Have demonstrated success in working with data scientists, data engineers, and LLM output evaluators - in addition to working with application engineers and architects
· Have a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
