Product Manager – Technical AI/ML, AI/ML & Data Srvcs
Interested in helping defense and national security customers transform their capabilities with Amazon Web Services? This is an exciting opportunity to deliver, grow, and scale our services across our US Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) regions to help these customers solve complex challenges and move their missions forward. Our team is responsible for a wide range of critical services that span the Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), and Databases domains.

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager Tech, External Service (PMT-ES) to own product strategy and delivery for a portfolio of AWS database services across all US ADC regions. Key job responsibilities
Your skills will need to cover both breadth and depth. Practical experience in the application and utility of emergent GenAI capabilities will be heavily leveraged. Success will be shaped by your ability to analyze data, define/execute a strategy that works backwards from customers, and communicate effectively. You will partner with stakeholders that span different organizations (Engineering, Sales, Finance, etc.) and seniority (hands-on engineers to senior leadership). You will prioritize against constraints and ensure the customer experience we offer is of the highest quality.

You will establish a deep understanding of customers by diving into the details of their needs. This focus will involve you learning and practicing Amazon's working backwards approach to delighting customers. Your knowledge of our services will drive greater mission outcomes, from launching brand new capabilities to overcoming obstacles. You will drive service adoption and shape strategy (pricing, product positioning, etc.) with a constant focus on customers.

A day in the life
You will deliver in an agile environment that embraces the evolving needs of customers. While no day is the same, you will invest time into customer deep dives, roadmap sessions with engineering teams, drafting new strategies, and driving execution. This mix of strategic and tactical efforts require diverse product skills that lead to rewarding results.

Each member of our team has distinct ownership of their own products, but we work together to deliver more than the sum of our parts. We place great value on maintaining harmony between our personal and professional lives.
