Who You Are:

You are an influential, experienced Product Manager with a passion for building data and AI centric software products in an agile way. You are passionate about working with cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers and business analysts to build and deliver exceptional data products relying on data foundations, advanced data science capabilities, and /or compelling visualizations to make a difference for the patients of tomorrow. You are comfortable guiding technical implementation decisions drawing from various perspectives, benefits, dependencies and engineering commitments to create a comprehensive roadmap. You enjoy defining and guiding implementation of KPIs to ensure design and delivery of extraordinary applications.

Acts as the bridge between internal users and platform engineering teams, ensuring AI/ML developers and data scientists are enabled with robust platform capabilitiesTranslates product strategy into actionable requirements and supports end-to-end feature deliveryOwns and refines the product backlog, collaborating daily with engineering and delivery leadsDefines and tracks usage metrics and user feedback to guide continuous improvementAdvocates for excellent user experience and developer experience across all platform capabilities, ensuring usability, accessibility, and adoptionWorks closely with engineering teams to scope solutions, resolve blockers, and ensure technical feasibility of platform featuresCommunicates clearly with cross-functional stakeholders and ensures alignment on scope, priorities, and platform visionConducts to sprint planning and supports the delivery team in maintaining high product quality and velocitySupports the readiness of cross-functional partners (e.g., security, architecture, compliance) for successful platform feature launches

 

Key Functional Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience working with technical users such as data scientists, ML engineers, or data engineersAbility to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versaStrong organizational skills and attention to detail in backlog management and prioritizationCuriosity and a strong “customer mindset” – ask “why” and “how” to clarify product directionProven ability to collaborate across technical and business teams, and to handle ambiguity in complex environmentsEffective communication skills – can clearly convey goals, issues, and prioritiesFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum practices and cross-functional product delivery teamsExperience in healthcare, biotech, or other regulated environments is a plusExperience guiding large-scale, data-platform / data lake / data warehouse products5+ years of experience in product management or delivering complex digital/data/AI solutions

 

Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications:

Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and how internal teams use infrastructure to build and deploy modelsFamiliarity with platform technologies such as cloud computing (e.g., AWS), containers, model serving, and data workflowsKnowledge and experience working with modern cloud-based systems (AWS preferred) and data and AI practices such as data and ML engineering, DataOps, MLOpsUnderstanding of technical platform products, and working with technical users such asengineers, ML engineers and data scientistsExperience using backlog and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similarAwareness of platform usability and developer experience as a core product valueBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
