Basic purpose of role/Why the job exists:
This role will be responsible for providing training and supporting the direct or indirect sales force. Preparing and execution of marketing plans in relation to the launch and the promotion of the assigned product lines within the designated territory.
Conducts market research; generates product requirements, develops marketing materials, plans promotional activities, monitors trends and improves market intelligence. Maintains contacts with customers to follow up promotion efforts and cooperates closely with direct/indirect channels.
Key areas of accountability:
Prepare marketing plans for specified aspects/components of Stryker products, focusing on appropriate target audiences.Ensure field staff receive appropriate training to achieve effective delivery of key selling messagesEstablish relationship with the U.S. Marketing Department and prepare reports on request and forward any territory information regarding Stryker products in the most appropriate wayCooperate closely with Logistics department for quarterly safety stock reviewOrganize & perform workshops, deliver presentations and demonstrationsSupporting sales team to improve technical knowledge about the product and documentation.Budgetary management for all marketing activities initiatedAttract and retain quality employees with the best skills and qualifications to ensure that the Stryker standards and values are met and exceededContinuous development of relevant skills and knowledgeSupport development and implementation of the company quality systemLead the team efficiently to optimize outcomes consistent with the company’s code of conductClosely work with RA/QA officers for registration documentations.Obtain market intelligence on local product development and competitor activitiesContribute in the identification of KOLs and lead the communication with them.Support the salesforce by attending demonstrations, KOL visits.Cooperate closely with Logistics department for quarterly safety stock reviewEducation/ Experience
University Degree in Medical/Marketing/Business or equivalentSales CertificateDemonstrations CertificateFluent in speaking Japanese and EnglishExcellent writing skills in Japanese and EnglishExperienced in using office software and databasesMinimum of 3 year’s experience in product management/marketing within medical industry, Orthopaedics desiredExperience showing impact on sales and successful market penetrationTravel Percentage: None
