As a Passenger Car Additive Product Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving the strategy and execution of a critical product line that supports global mobility and energy efficiency. You’ll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate professionals across technology,  marketing, R&D, operations, and sales to deliver sustainable solutions that enhance modern life. Your work will directly impact product profitability, customer satisfaction, and market leadership

In this role, you will:

Develop and implement product line strategies aligned with Lubrizol’s corporate goals. Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation to commercialization. Forecast volume trends and make data-driven pricing and margin decisions. Lead cross-functional teams to launch new products and support existing ones. Collaborate with R&D to innovate and improve product offerings. Partner with marketing to define product positioning and messaging. Support sales with training and resources to drive product success. Monitor product performance and optimize portfolio profitability. Coordinate with operations and supply chain to ensure efficient delivery and asset utilization.

 

Skills That Make a Difference

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical/ Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the specialty chemicals industry; additives experience is a plus. Strong business acumen with a solid grasp of pricing, margins, and financial analysis. Proven leadership and collaboration skills across multifunctional teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. Technical knowledge of chemical products, applications, and manufacturing processes. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive strategic decisions. Domestic travel up to 30%
