**Introduction** IBM Maximo Renewables is a strategic product area within the Maximo Application Suite, focused on enabling the scalable, reliable, and cost-effective operation of renewable energy assets. The product supports asset-intensive renewable operators—including wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS)—by unifying enterprise asset management, operational intelligence, and performance insights across the full asset lifecycle. Maximo Renewables extends core Maximo capabilities with renewables-specific asset models, analytics, and workflows to help organizations increase energy availability, optimize maintenance strategies, manage operational risk, and accelerate the energy transition at scale. **Your role and responsibilities** IBM is seeking an Advisory Product Manager for Maximo Renewables. This role is accountable for defining product strategy, shaping roadmap priorities, supporting client engagements, and driving execution for renewables-focused capabilities across the Maximo portfolio. At the Advisory level, this role requires demonstrated product leadership, domain depth in renewable energy operations, and the ability to influence across teams and stakeholders. You will work at the intersection of market needs, client feedback, engineering execution, and IBM strategy—ensuring Maximo Renewables delivers differentiated value for wind, solar, and energy storage operators globally. Key Responsibilities * Own and evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for IBM Maximo Renewables. * Define and prioritize renewables-specific capabilities for wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems. * Translate renewable energy operational requirements into scalable product capabilities. * Collaborate with engineering, UX, architecture, and data teams to deliver high-quality SaaS features. * Partner with clients, utilities, IPPs, and system integrators to validate requirements and identify market opportunities. * Ensure integration with core Maximo capabilities. * Support go-to-market activities including sales enablement and client engagements. * Track industry trends and define success metrics. * Act as a subject-matter expert for renewable asset management within IBM. **Required technical and professional expertise** * 7-10 years of professional experience, with at least 3-5 years in renewable energy or asset-intensive operations. * Proven experience in product management and solution leadership. * Strong understanding of wind, solar, and battery energy storage assets and their lifecycles. * Experience owning product roadmaps, stakeholder management, and influencing cross-functional teams. * Familiarity with EAM/APM platforms. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience working with utilities, IPPs, or renewable developers. * Familiarity with IoT, SCADA, and asset performance analytics. * Experience with SaaS or cloud-native platforms. * Experience with Maximo. * Understanding of sustainability and regulatory considerations. * Experience supporting product launches or analyst briefings. * Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Business.
