The Product Manager on T-Mobile’s Product Partnerships & Growth Team serves as the business owner and lifecycle lead for Samsung affordable devices, tablets, and wearables within T-Mobile’s portfolio. This individual acts as the face of Samsung products across the organization, driving go-to-market execution, sustaining post-launch health, and optimizing product performance through the entire lifecycle. This role blends strategic product management, cross-functional leadership, and commercial acumen, guiding Samsung devices from conception through launch, maturity, and sunset — ensuring every product contributes to T-Mobile’s growth and delivers an exceptional customer experience.Responsibilities:Product Strategy, Go-To-Market & Lifecycle Management – 50%• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Samsung affordable devices, tablets, and wearables, including roadmap planning, launch execution, and ongoing health management.
• Lead go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution across key functions (marketing, sales, retail, operations, finance, and care) to ensure seamless commercial readiness and launch excellence.
• Develop business cases, demand forecasts, and lifecycle plans to optimize product profitability, inventory, and performance metrics.
• Partner with OEMs (Samsung) and internal teams to define launch timelines, promotional strategies, and portfolio positioning within T-Mobile’s ecosystem.
• Monitor product performance post-launch, identify growth opportunities, and implement lifecycle interventions (pricing, promotions, updates, or portfolio refreshes).
• Serve as the primary liaison between T-Mobile and Samsung for all affordable devices, tablets, and wearables.
• Drive alignment across marketing, supply chain, retail, finance, and care teams to ensure consistent execution and message delivery.
• Manage internal communications and executive updates on product performance, roadmap milestones, and partnership strategy.
• Champion collaborative problem-solving and foster a culture of innovation and partnership across the organization.
• Analyze consumer behavior, competitive landscape, and market trends to identify new opportunities and inform lifecycle decisions.
• Collaborate with analytics and insights teams to track KPIs such as sales velocity, attachment rates, churn, and NPS.
• Advocate for customer-centric product decisions that improve experience and drive T-Mobile’s Un-carrier differentiation.
• Lead recurring Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with Samsung and internal stakeholders to assess performance and strategic alignment.
• Maintain accurate product documentation, GTM materials, and lifecycle management reports.
• Manage product issue resolution, inventory health, and end-of-life transitions efficiently and proactively.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Go-To-Market, Product Lifecycle Management, or Product Operations roles within consumer electronics, telecom, or technology sectors.
• Proven track record in cross-functional leadership and OEM partnership management.
• Experience managing or supporting wireless devices, tablets, or wearables strongly preferred.
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**
• Deep understanding of product lifecycle strategy, from launch planning to end-of-life transitions.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills; proven ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience managing relationships with global OEMs (preferably Samsung).
• Highly collaborative, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
**Travel:**
• Occasional domestic travel required for product launches, partner meetings, or cross-functional workshops.
