Job Description:

Work as part of a team of three people overseeing the end-to-end management of TD's Fund My Business commercial product pricing strategies. This includes continually redefining the pricing strategy and objectives and positioning, developing pricing features, outlining benefits and characteristics tailored to customer needs, and establishing pricing and promotional strategies aligned with the Bank’s profitability and risk appetite objectives. The role also supports business strategies for customer acquisition and product utilization.

Key Accountabilities

Champion the re-development and implementation of Commercial Lending pricing strategies, including the development of strategic roadmaps, defining and recommending alternatives with insightful analysis and implementation assessments.

Monitor and manage product margins to meet financial and business objectives.

Oversee the Bank of Canada rate change playbook for Commercial Lending.

Manage the Borrower Level Pricing grid and implement rate changes.

Maintain and improve the Commercial RAROC model.

Maintain effective product relationships with TBSM relating to all things Cost of Funds related; TDS relating to CORRA lending & lending SME for Derivative & Swap solutions.

Build and maintain relationships with the CBC distribution channel to both gain feedback on market pricing and provide creative pricing solutions wherever possible on a deal-by-deal basis.

Lead pricing initiatives and strategic projects from concept to delivery, including successful implementation along with CBC distribution education and support.

Direct and interpret market research to understand competitive landscapes and evolving customer needs, translating insights into actionable strategies.

Promote key strategies to the field via Campaigns, Road shows, etc.

Design, execute, and oversee strategic initiatives aimed at expanding TD Business Banking’s market share, while driving growth in commercial loan volume, revenue, and Economic Profit (EP) targets.

Job Requirements

Commercial Lending experience, with a strong understanding of the pricing and profitability aspect both from a customer perspective and TD Bank profitability perspective. CORRA Pricing/lending/funding experience is strongly preferred.

Alternatively, experience in a TBSM FTP role would be considered a strong asset.

Teamwork oriented with an ability to influence others (especially in partner groups) and work effectively in a constantly changing environment, requiring ongoing re-evaluation of priorities.

Self-motivated demonstrates a ‘sense of urgency’ in their work.

Ability to work independently and rationalize key business decisions to senior business banking executive(s)

Ability to think “outside of the box” and assess business issues

Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills

Proven oral and written presentation skills

Comfortable to lead in a small team/project environment

Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to obtain consensus among key stakeholders

Strong ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Familiar with Next Evolution of Work / Scaled Agile Preferred.
