Product Manager, Amazon Business Operations
Amazon Business is reshaping buying in the business-to-business (B2B) world by using technology to help our Customers streamline their procurement and purchasing operations and turn them into value drivers for their organizations. Worldwide Amazon Business Operations is building the operations and supply chain solutions that will enable AB’s rapid growth by re-engineering
many parts of our supply chain to offer bulk, consolidated, pallet deliveries and many other services that business customers require.

The AB APAC Operations team is seeking a Product Manager who is passionate about building new businesses, solving complex problems for our B2B Customers, and overall working to drive Cost, Performance and Quality. This is a critical leadership role with significant visibility and impact, with responsibility for achieving operational alignment for AB’s Strategic vision across multiple VP orgs, why managing VP level goals tied to placement improvements across all AB operating regions.

Success in this role requires you to think strategically, perform deep dive analytics on existing processes, identify gaps and opportunities and create scalable long-term mechanisms to drive improvement, establish key project milestones and business requirements. The successful candidate will have experience influencing business owners and supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. The role requires the candidate to be a self-starter with the ability work through ambiguity, being both strategic and analytical in their approach. The candidate must have the aptitude to incorporate new approaches and methodologies that are grounded in data-based recommendations. This role also has regular interaction with senior leaders and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Key job responsibilities
- Create and execute strategy roadmaps, lead high-impact projects, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
- You will drive the long-term vision through development of vision documents (PRFAQs), definition of business requirements, launch and post-launch measurement.
- Candidate will possess a strong product management background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects, to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
- Develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
- An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.
