Position: Demand Planner III - Product Line Planner
Location: US - Morrisville, NC
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift
Job Description
What will you do?
Review forecast generated and provide input on changes required.
Develop and analyze 12-18 month supply plan and present to site leadership.
Develop a near-term (0-6 months) production supply plan for the site using Excel, SAP, and IBP.
Complete supply planning elements and initiate data into ERP system collaborate with demand planners.
Provide demand input into the S&OP process to allow for visibility of risks and opportunities.
Collect information and collaborate with other functions such as Sales, Finance, and Operations to identify events that will alter demand and incorporate into the forecast.
Prepare for and lead Supply review meetings
Generate scenarios considering products, past event data, customer/market analysis, cannibalization, substitution, and other relevant parameters.
Prepares agenda, presents materials, and facilitates monthly resource requirement planning and sales and operations planning meetings.
Scenario planning / capacity analysis for long-term planning and various projects and initiatives across the plant.
Provide detailed capacity charts for business review meetings.
Ability to develop, analyze and provide reports to satisfy ongoing inquiries on capacity and product availability maintain accuracy of planning data.
Enable plan to deliver/improve service & inventory targets by delivering/improving forecast measures.
Lead efforts in maintenance of business intelligence tool, leading all aspects of build-out of global retailed reporting, dashboards, and visualizations.
Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Managment, Economics, or similar field. Masters degree preferred.
Experience:
5+ years Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing or service environment Demonstrated expertise in ERP/MRP Planning systems, including all relevant planning parameters such as inventory controls, replenishment, warehouse management and procurement functionality in ERP and best-of-breed software solutions is strongly preferred, with specific emphasis on SAP Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Experience process improvement / operational excellence training is preferred.
