We are seeking a visionary, temporary Product Line Architect to drive technical leadership and architectural integrity across a portfolio of C4I and autonomous systems programs. In this critical role, you will define and evolve the product line architecture strategy to ensure modularity, scalability, and interoperability across multiple defense platforms. You will serve as the technical authority working closely with program teams, engineering disciplines, business development, and customers to shape innovative and sustainable solutions for current and future mission needs.

What You Will Do

Define and maintain the product line architecture roadmap across C4I and autonomy-focused offerings and align program architectures with open standards (e.g., MOSA, FACE, SOSA) and customer mandates

Lead architecture trades, risk identification, and technical planning across the product lifecycle and collaborate with systems engineering, software, hardware, and integration teams to drive technical consistency

Guide the design and reuse of components across programs for speed, cost, and performance advantages and provide architectural oversight in proposal development, concept definition, and technology insertion

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to capture needs and communicate architectural decisions and represent the company in technical customer interactions and industry forums

Mentor technical teams and contribute to talent development in architectural competencies

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years’ experience

Experience in defense systems architecture or product line technical leadership and experience in C4I systems, autonomous systems, and relevant DoD architecture.

Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML, and tools such as Cameo or Rhapsody and DoD acquisition lifecycle, technical baselines, and requirements management

Open systems architecture and modular design principles experience

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with artificial intelligence and autonomy-enabling technologies

Participation in DoD standards bodies or architecture working groups (e.g., SOSA Consortium)

Experience with rapid prototyping and technology transition

Previous technical leadership in multi-domain integration (air, land, maritime, space, cyber)

TS/SCI clearance
