As an IT Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) Intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will have the opportunity to work in a global team and with cross-functional teams to support and maintain our world-class PLM solutions. You will play a key role in delivering specific tasks and projects related to PLM, ensuring that our PLM support is aligned with our business goals and delivers exceptional value to our organization.
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is a strategic approach to managing the entire lifecycle of a product from inception, through engineering design and manufacturing, to service and disposal. Siemens Teamcenter is a leading PLM software that helps companies manage product data and processes, improve collaboration, and increase productivity.
Application maintenance involves the continuous updating, analyzing, modifying, and re-evaluating of existing applications to ensure they perform at optimal levels. As part of our application maintenance team, you will help ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our PLM solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Undertake specific tasks and projects related to Product Life Cycle Management (PLM)
+ Discover areas that could be enhanced and optimized
+ Work with cross-functional teams to support and maintain PLM solutions
**Qualifications**
+ University student
+ Strong interest in application management, maintenance and support
+ Overall interest in IT (programming, databases, infrastructure, operating systems)
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
+ Strong communication and teamwork skills
+ Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams
+ Experience with Siemens Teamcenter, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or other 3D CAD systems is an advantage
