**PRODUCT INTEGRITY MATERIAL QUALITY ENGINEER**
**Location:** PHK (Beaverton), Global
**WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH**
This role sits within Nike’s Apparel Standards and Governance team under Product Integrity. You’ll partner closely with Material Supply Chain, Product Development, Material Development, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, and collaborate with material vendors and factories across the Americas region to ensure quality standards are met.

Nike is seeking a detail-driven, proactive engineer with deep expertise in textiles and material quality. The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge with strong analytical skills and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll need to navigate ambiguity, influence partners, and deliver solutions that elevate product integrity. Strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to build relationships internally and externally are essential. Comfort with data analysis and proficiency in tools like Excel, Smartsheet, and Air Table will help you succeed. **Key Qualifications:**
+ Open to work in PHK (Beaverton), Global
+ Minimum of 3 years of materials or product experience in the apparel or footwear industry
+ Bachelor’s degree in Textile Science or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
+ Knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, dyeing, finishing, printing, and material testing
+ Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
**WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON**
You’ll deliver material quality expertise to Nike’s product creation and supply chain teams, ensuring risks are identified early and production meets specifications. Your work will influence supplier performance and drive continuous improvement across global operations.
**Core Responsibilities:**
+ Partner with product creation teams, supply chain, and suppliers to identify and mitigate material quality risks before manufacturing
+ Evaluate manufacturing plans to confirm processes meet specifications and tolerances
+ Support suppliers through evaluations, training, troubleshooting, and corrective actions
+ Assess materials and identify key production quality competencies and risks
+ Review production testing and color data to resolve issues quickly
+ Lead issue management, root cause analysis, and improvement planning
+ Communicate effectively with internal and external partners to drive alignment
