Summary: Seeking a Product Improvement Engineer with expertise in mechanical design to enhance automotive or machine products.

Requirements:

5+ years of Product Support or Project Engineering experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Proficiency with CAD (Creo preferred) and MS Office Suite

Preferred Skills:

3-5 years of product or machine design experience Project Management experience Experience with sheet metal design, mechanism design, machined metal parts, injection molded plastic parts, material selection, and system integration Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) experience Manufacturing Engineering experience Background in Lean Manufacturing and Root Cause Corrective Action

Responsibilities:

Identify and execute product improvements on released products Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing teams Select parts and materials for reliable product function Validate concepts through analysis and testing Design parts and assemblies using appropriate materials Support existing product lines by resolving design issues

Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
