Job DescriptionLead the development of innovative protection solutions for small and medium businesses, anchored in short-term and long-term insurance and extending into offerings beyond insurance. Drive product strategy, design, and delivery to help SMEs safeguard their people, assets, and operations through any challenge. Requires 10+ years’ senior product, financial, or insurance experience with a proven track record in delivering impactful, market-ready solutions.

Experience Required
Business & Commercial Banking / Financial Services
3–4 years in a product management or proposition development role within insurance, banking, or other financial services.Hands-on experience in designing, building, and launching solutions for clients, ideally SMEs.Exposure to short-term and/or long-term insurance products.Strong understanding of how financial products are structured, priced, and distributed.Familiarity with operating in regulated financial environments, balancing client needs with commercial and compliance requirements.Leadership & Strategic Delivery
5–7 years in senior product, strategy, or innovation roles within a financial institution or insurer.Demonstrated success in creating commercially viable client solutions that deliver measurable value and business growth.Skilled in product lifecycle management, go-to-market execution, and managing financial performance (value creation, cost optimisation, ROE improvement).Solid grasp of SME market dynamics - including client needs, competitor landscape, and profitability levers.Additional InformationBehavioural Competencies:
