Location: Faribault, MN (or Owatonna, MN) in office 5 days per week

Timeline: This Internship opportunity is for May-August 2026

What you will do:

Work with an assigned engineer to research and analyze data such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine the feasibility of the design or applicationDesign/test products or systems such as instruments, controls, fan coil, and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems under the direction of the assigned engineerWork with fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systems under the direction of assigned engineer

Minimum Qualifications:

Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace EngineeringExperience with Solidworks or related CAD softwareWork visa sponsorship is not available for this positionExperience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

Successfully completed Thermodynamics I, and Fluid MechanicsReside within a 300-mile radius of our Factory

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $24/hr - $26/hr. This represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
