We’re looking for a **Product Sustaining Engineer II** to support and optimize our existing product lines. In this role, you’ll manage engineering changes, drive cost-reduction initiatives, solve complex quality issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our products continue to meet the highest standards.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Manage **engineering and product change processes** to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and quality.
+ Troubleshoot product issues and lead **root cause analyses** to resolve design, manufacturing, and customer concerns.
+ Partner with **Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Sales** to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
+ Maintain and improve product specifications, drawings, and documentation.
+ Collaborate with global engineering teams to share insights and best practices.
**Job Requirements**
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
+ **Experience:** Minimum **3+ years** in product engineering, sustaining engineering, or a similar role.
+ **Technical Expertise:**
+ Proficiency with **CAD/CAE tools** for product design and analysis.
+ Strong understanding of **engineering change processes** and product lifecycle management.
+ Familiarity with **product qualification testing** and reviewing **FAIs** (First Article Inspections).
+ **Problem-Solving Skills:** Experience conducting **root cause analyses** and implementing corrective actions.
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Proven ability to work effectively with Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Sales teams.
+ **Quality & Compliance:** Knowledge of **ISO 9001** and **AS9100** standards preferred.
+ **Customer Focus:** Ability to engage directly with customers and ensure solutions meet technical and quality requirements.
