**Job Description**
BAE Systems is searching for a Senior Principal Product Engineer Data Analytics Lead to drive performance analytics throughout the ACM test center and factory. This role will focus on maturing current RF test data analysis techniques and metrics trending for all products with a focus on RF performance. This individual will be tasked to establish automated methods to collect, analyze, and visualize data to understand past and present performance, identify trends, forecast future outcomes, and make informed decisions for continuous improvement activities to drive product quality and performance.
The ideal candidate will be an individual that has an internal drive with a passion for data analysis and performance.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Champion the development and implementation of the ACM product data analytics strategy and process.
+ Partner with data engineering teams to design scalable, reliable pipelines and data architectures supporting advanced product performance analytics
+ Collaborate with cross functional teams including Tech Ops, Quality, Program Engineering, and Leadership to translate business needs and problem statements into robust analytic solutions and data products
+ Lead the design and implementation of data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders
+ Perform in-depth data analysis to understand product performance variations, identify and recommend key performance indicators to track, and tie back to system level performance requirements.
+ Manage projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
+ Cultivate creative problem-solving skills, promote experimentation, and explore novel approaches to address complex challenges.
+ Mentor and develop within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor s Degree in an Engineering discipline and at least 6 years of related/relevant work experience.
+ Experience with RF design and test methodologies.
+ Intrinsic inquisitiveness and data curiosity
+ Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a demonstrated ability to collect meaningful data and make data driven decisions
+ Outstanding communication, presentation, skills and interpersonal skills to convey key insights from complex analysis and ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams
+ Experience with RF test development for production, employing RF Test instrumentation (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generators, PNA-X etc.)
+ Experience with RF Measurement techniques and ability to diagnose and resolve to root cause measurement anomalies.
+ Current DOD Secret Government clearance
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Master s degree in Electrical Engineering or Related Engineering discipline and 6 years experience.
+ Ability to work data analysis with spreadsheet manipulation for large data sets
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in RF test environment performing related work
+ Experience analyzing manufacturing processes and products for continuous improvement and quality improvement opportunities
+ Familiarity with Orbit test equipment and 959 Spectrum antenna test software
+ Experience with Visual Basic and Excel macro creation and editing
+ Technical or team leadership
+ Proven success implementing change production processes
+ Six Sigma training, with a green belt minimally preferred; black belt desired
+ Formal Project Management training
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
