Product Engineer
Join Emerson Fisher’s global Research & Development organization—one of four worldwide centers driving innovation across the USA, Singapore, China, and Europe. Our European Engineering team operates from Székesfehérvár (Hungary) and Cernay (France), supported by a state‑of‑the‑art test laboratory in Cernay. As part of this collaborative, international network, the Engineering department develops new products for the European market, designs customer‑specific solutions, contributes to EN/ISO standards, and provides expert support for our existing portfolio. Product Engineers play a key role in these activities, solving technical challenges while balancing cost, quality, and delivery expectations. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** _Customer problems support_ + Investigates Service Reports analysis (SR) + Analyzes technical problems related to on site product or damaged parts. + Occasionally goes on site to investigate problems and/or give a solution. + Fills in expertise report. + Proposes solutions considering the economic interest of customers and the one of Emerson. + Ensures monitoring of corrective actions + Gives instructions to after-sales services. + Lists spare parts to use.Inspections + Ensures technical support during customer inspection if necessary. + Define corrective actions together with the customer and the “customer service” of the plant.Production Support + Decides on the rework, scrap or acceptance of parts affected by a Non Conformity (NC) and signs the statement. + Ensures technical support to the European plants. + Create ECRNs. + Ensures implementation of ECRNs for his product portfolio. + Is involved in new products launches on manufacturing site. + Investigates solutions to reduce costs. + Training + Provides training on products to site employees, customers and sales department + Supports new employee trainings for his product portfolio. + Sales support + Proposes or approves technical solutions at quotation stage. + Provides technical support during meetings between sales department and customer. + Provides technical support for spare parts department.Order Entry department support + Verifies and approves new parts codification. + Verifies and approves the new manufacturing drawings.Trade Compliance: + Trade Compliance is an important factor for ensuring business is conducted correctly. This is further controlled with local procedures and practices that must be complied with. Example : PED files. **Who You Are:** You are action oriented, able to collaborates with others.
