About the role
The role of experienced Product Director is required to manage life cycle product planning activities and high-quality delivery of Worldpay for Platforms new products, enhancements, and releases to market.
Define product roadmap to meet market requirements in support of product line strategy by considering position in life cycle, product profitability, Go to Market, Client Satisfaction and Sales Success rate.
What you’ll own as the Product Director
Engage and interact with stakeholders during planning sessions, gaining a detailed understanding of user requirements. Function as Voice of Customer.Prior experience in people leadership, preferably with Cross border exposureDemonstrated experience in delivering end-to-end Product, from Requirements to CommercialisationPrepares and presents product plans. Identify risks and challenges, opportunities and growth strategies, business integration needs and retirement plans.Demonstrate leadership by establishing and articulating a clear vision of success and how goals and objectives will be achieved.Manage product plan by prioritizing and scoping features, enhancements, bugs relating to the product, integration needs and technology advancements.Managing delivery expectations and requirements for success. Including Release, GTM, Support documentation.Assist the Head of Product with content for product roadmaps.Ensures timely delivery, clear visibility and provides business reasons for any changes/revisions made to roadmaps.Jumping into Product technical meetings, assisting engineering teams. Supporting requirements and acting as the decision maker and signing off.This role is required to work with different teams across different geographies and time zones to deliver business outcomes. As such, the role may be required to work or remain contactable outside regular hours due to different time zones at times. Other related duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
5+ years’ experience in a similar Product Management or Product Owner role with at least 2 years’ experience in people leadership role.Experience in the SaaS FinTech / Payments / Banking spaceExcellent Project Management Documentation and Process skillsAtlassian Suite user - Confluence and JiraData Driven analysis.Solid understanding of the agile software development lifecycle and scrum processesTechnical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and designExcellent technical and non-technical problem-solving skillsProven success prioritising commercial and/or business critical projectsAbility to communicate recommendations effectively to executive managementAbility to understand and apply technical concepts.Flexibility, versatility, dependabilityIt’s a bonus if you have
