Job Description:
Role : Product Development Technologist
Location : Hyderabad
Job Responsibilities
Support development of new products and or recipe modifications (eg DIB activities) in collaboration with cross functional teams like Supply & Marketing.
Implementation of recipes and adaptations of local conditions to implement the centrally developed recipes in the best and most efficient way
- Recipe maintenance to improve quality and nutritional values of products
- Responsible for the Site specific recipes and SRC’s
Collaborate with key stakeholders (Site R&D /Supply /Engineering ) to support PPI in the handover process on site when there is : recipe or raw material change outside of current specification.
Work closely with Material development & commercial teams to identify new COGS opportunities.
Support site activities which improve recipe costs (within spec), reduce waste and improve product quality
Utilize CI/Lean tools such as Six sigma and FMEA to ensure our products are efficiently optimized with quality and cost in mind.
Input to non-conformance management process, utilizing technical expertise to recommend a disposition
Job Specifications/Qualifications

1. Education & Professional Qualification
Degree in Food Science, Food engineering, chemistry, or equivalent.
2. Knowledge/Experience
5+ years in a Food Manufacturing environment working in Quality, Food Safety, Engineering, or Product/Process Development
Working knowledge of food processing or product development is highly preferred
