Description of Job: Valent BioSciences LLC is seeking a Product Development Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO). In this role, you will lead global product development and launch projects across Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory, R&D, and Manufacturing & Operations. You’ll be responsible for driving cross-functional alignment, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and supporting the successful entry of innovative biological products into the market. This position is ideal for an experienced project manager with a background in product development, life sciences, or agriculture, who thrives on collaboration, structure, and problem-solving to move complex projects forward. + Accountable for the project management process and KPIs + Ensures that assigned projects are done accurately, on-time, within budget and within scope + Engage each cross-functional person/team with accountable actions + Develop project documentation template for project management + Identify risks and develop response plans + Accountable for project budget control + Support Project Leaders to Lead project team in the execution of all projects + Audit project schedule and control activities to keep projects on schedule + Identify and resolve issues that arise Capabilities: + Communicates clearly and effectively with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners + Provides strong leadership by setting direction, motivating teams, and driving accountability + Maintains a high level of organization to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and resources + Prioritizes tasks and manages time efficiently to meet deadlines + Proactively identifies risks and develops mitigation strategies + Manages budgets effectively and makes data-driven decisions to keep projects within financial scope + Thinks critically and solves problems quickly to minimize disruptions + Adapts to changing project needs and adjusts strategies to maintain progress + Collaborates well across teams to support shared project goals Experience: + 5-8 years of project management and related experience + Agriculture experience preferred + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred + Proven ability to solve problems creatively + Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices + Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle + Excellent analytical skill + Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful + Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline Education: Bachelors degree in business administration, Science, communications, or equivalent degree Location: Global business headquarters in Libertyville, Illinois. This role is primarily onsite, with a hybrid telecommuting policy of up to 20% per month. Relocation assistance is not available. Base Salary: The estimated annual base salary for this position ranges from: $109,300 to $133,900. Individual pay is based upon location, skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Incentives: All full-time employees are eligible for an incentive program or profit-sharing program in addition to their base salary.
