Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Product Development - Rubber Material Process Engineer to join our innovative team in Granby, QC, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting hose activities by developing and optimizing rubber material processes for product development, ensuring high-quality outcomes and efficient manufacturing procedures.

Lead the industrialization and optimization of rubber material processes for new and existing hoses productsAnalyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and production efficiencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate rubber material requirements into product designsConduct experiments and tests to evaluate and industrialize rubber material properties and performanceDevelop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and technical reportsTroubleshoot process-related issues and implement effective solutionsStay up-to-date with the latest advancements in rubber material technology and processing techniquesEnsure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in rubber material processingProvide technical support and guidance to production teams and other stakeholders

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field; Master's degree preferredPreferred experience in rubber material process engineering, preferably in a product development or manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of rubber material properties, polymer science, and processing techniquesStrong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approachStrong analytical abilities and data interpretation skillsExperience with product development lifecycle and manufacturing processesEffective communication and teamwork skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations related to rubber material processingDemonstrated track record of process improvements and innovation in rubber material applications
